Husqvarna, Model 1640 — a Swedish-made bolt-action sporting rifle built between the 1950s and 1960s. The 1640 was based on Husqvarna’s in-house evolution of the M96 and M98 Mauser actions, balancing strength and comfort. Manufactured from the early ’50s until 1967 before Husqvarna’s rifle production was sold to FFV Carl Gustaf.
