Product Description

Franchi Momentum Utility Lite Elite, "The MULE"

The MULE is the modern workhorse of rifles — compact, reliable, and ready for anything life demands. From long days in the field to everyday readiness at home, it delivers the accuracy, adaptability, and rugged strength shooters expect from a true general-purpose rifle. Wherever the job takes you, The MULE carries the load.

The Momentum Utility Lite is the go-anywhere, take-along gun that is fast handling and designed specifically for fast action and quick reaction in close quarters or in the field. This compact utility rifle with a 16.25” barrel is the ultimate for mobility, transport and remote packability. Rack it in your pickup truck, ride along with it in your side by side, strap it to your pack or defend a dark hallway with the choice of two proven calibers that are known for their performance.

Features:

  • Fluted Chrome 3-Lug Bolt - Ultra smooth, efficient, and solid operation in the moments that matter most with a short 60° bolt throw.
  • Free Floated Light Contour Barrel - A cold-hammer-forged, chrome-molybdenum barrel is entirely free-floating for maximum accuracy.
  • Threaded Muzzle With Knurled Thread Protector - The barrel's muzzle is threaded and protected by a knurled cover, making it easy to attach a variety of muzzle accessories. (5/8 X 24 thread)
  • Sights - In the down position, the flip-up rear sights can be used in the standard rear notch/front blade configuration for fast target acquisition. In the up position, the rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation and presents a sight picture similar to that of many modern sporting rifles.
  • One-Piece Picatinny Rail - The extra-long Picatinny rail allows optics to be placed traditionally to the rear, or farther forward in a scout rifle configuration. It is also free-floated so as not to impact barrel harmonics and accuracy.
  • Integrated QD Sling/Bipod Mount Point - Three M-LOK attachment points on the stock forend accommodate a wide range of accessories. Each mounting point has a pair of M-LOK slots and a QD slot for sling attachment.
  • Detachable Straight Feed Magazine - Detachable, straight-feed magazine constructed from lightweight polymer for fast, reliable loading and smooth feeding. The MULE is AICS compatible, allowing for expanded magazine options. Ships with a 10-round magazine in .223 and an 8-round magazine in .308.
  • Adjustable Trigger - Adjustable single-stage trigger ensures a crisp and clean break to make every shot count. (Adjustable from 2 to 4 lbs.)
  • TSA Recoil Pads - Absorbs up to 50% of felt recoil.
